I will share some photos as the website hosting jokes has gone a bit wrong.
(P/S: Sorry because I will use super simple English today as I am quite busy today...)
It looks like rambutan, but it is not any ordinary rambutan. Rather, it is a less-sweeter version of the fruit known as PULAS.
My parents bought PULAS just now. Here are some pictures to show what PULAS is actually like.
PULAS (upper picture above) vs RAMBUTAN (lower picture above)
PULAS looks thorny, but it is not at the least sharp; RAMBUTAN is hairy.
PULAS fruit vs RAMBUTAN fruit. Both look almost the same. However, the rambutan is sweeter than pulas. The way of eating any of the fruits is the same: twist the skin and snap the flesh up. Discard the seed of course.
According to my mom, pulas is actually sweeter than rambutan: it depends on the tree bearing it. I am uncertain of that; this is my first time chomping on pulas anyway. I have eaten rambutan virtually A THOUSAND TIMES as my family has a rambutan tree in front of the house. Hey, the fruits are incredibly delicious, and I am frank! (Still getting narcissistic, huh?)
How about a rambutan orchard? Or mulberries? (Mulberries are good for eyesight. If you have eyesores often, snap up some of them. I have a mulberry tree, but I did not take pictures of it. Thus, i just took this picture online.)
Eat these for the sake of your eyes. The darker the mulberry, the sweeter it is, and the higher its chances of being pecked away by the birds as well. :p |
Hey, for busy people like my family members who are running daily errands here and there, hollering about in hurry, that is IMPOSSIBLE!
In any situation, my love for RAMBUTAN will never die, and so is my curiosity for PULAS and MULBERRIES.
